R V H 2015 – Preston crown court

The Defendant was charged with entering his ex-partner’s home whilst it was unoccupied and taken items belonging to the complainant and causing damage. The complainant tried to retract her statement and after putting pressure on the CPS the case was discontinued prior to trial.

R V R 2013 – Preston crown court

The Defendant was charged and remanded in custody on suspicion of a burglary where it was alleged he entered the complainant’s flat and stole some items. The case proceeded to a two day trial in the Crown Court and the jury delivered a verdict of not guilty.

R V M 2011 – Preston crown court

We represented this Defendant who was charged with attempt robbery along with three other males. This related to a gentlemen from overseas being approached in the early hours of the morning by a group of males who demanded money and brandished a knife at him.

After a two day trial this Defendant was found not guilty by the jury.
